The Peddler's Square
View Floor Plan - In case you get lost, this will help you find your way around.
More of a rectangle than a square, The Peddler's Square gained its name from the innumerable peasants that would crowd the street, making it nigh impossible to pass with horse cart, or even upon a lone stallion. Often enough, these desperate beggars would fall victim to panicked hooves, and in vain attempts to peddle their worthless goods met their brutal deaths.

Decades since then, the guards forced these armies of knaves back to their alleyways, now leaving the square open for more respectable men and women to stroll about, making their ways to restaurants or markets for quality entertainment and goods.

Harmony walked slowly through the place that she now called home. But it wasn't her home, not really. She belonged in the Heavens, her wings spread gloriously about her in a way that poets could only dream of writing.

But now, she was flightless, and worse, banished.

She had lost her grace in a single moment, through a single choice that at the time seemed to be the right one. But apparently it was the wrong one. If she had made the correct decision, if she had chosen the right path, she would be among the clouds.

Now she was among the dust.

The worst part was she indulged in the drunken, lustful ways and behaviors of man, even though she knew better.

It didn't matter.

Not anymore any ways.

She could never go home.

Alvar saw two people there, both looking like they just got into town. Both wearing surprisingly little. "Hey!" He said to the guy, handing him a shirt. "It's not the best, but it gets cold here sometimes. You'll appriciate it later." He said.

Alvar turned to the woman and tossed her a sack of things. "Here. They might do you some good." He certainly had no use for woman's clothing. And the axe would make people thing twice about hurting her at least.

Harmony blinked as the sack was thrown her way. She had forgotten the ways of man were different than the was of angels. For her, clothing had never been needed. The life of a death angel excluded things such as clothing, food, or pain. But she was slowly begining to realize that she need things in her new life in exile.

"Thank you," she mumbled to Alvar, "I'm a little confused on how to begin here in this world."

Openly admitting that she knew little to nothing about this strange place more than a large leap for her. Death angels were capable of knowing everything about everything in the little time it took for them to find their charges. It was part of her job.

His paranoid eyes scanned the room, a cautiousness that was accustomed to him over his childhood. The brazier of the field but just a torment on the next that he would befall. He relinquished such thoughts, he ahd to hold upon that, that was real. His palms sweaty; holding upon the hilt for too long in the desert heat of which he came brought a slight discomfort in his wrist.

His momentum was shot; he might aswell have been sleeping at this very instance. With a sigh, he pressed forward, only to bump into a ever so kind man. What in the nine hells was this man doing? His hand was pulled forward as to take this random object of a shrit that the man was portraying for him. He took it kindley, settling with the random act of kindness.

His hands were numb, he had to put the sword awa for now and find a way to get to the barracks. His sole purpose was to find a job as a soldier, the least he could do not to sodimize his reputation; while he was here he might aswell find a occupation that best suited him.

Pressing forward, he animated a kind face that would potrude through the ever so noticeable hate in his eyes, the very thing that made him kin, made him who he is, or in any sense, was.

he posted himself infront of the doorwar to the nearest settlement. His clothnig was a little shady for a normal peasant, something that thew him into the realm of all types of suspicions. His hindered thoughts of what was coming up, interrupted by the sheer shrieks of voices in his head; memories from where he had come. In an instance, he flashed back to the other remaining occupants of the area. Apparentley some woman of a intriguing looks, and there stood the same man who handed him the shirt. With a nod of appreciation in his way, he paced back towards the center of the peddler's square. Notioned looks from the utter quitness wrestling the tides that could be heard from all around.
With such quitness, came the meekness of the ocean. A simple playing fact that lead into the eery quitness of the city. Apparentley something else was at hand, somewhere else in a far away place for the moment.
In a blink of an eye, he was off; pressing onward into the outreaches of the city, posting himself for anyone that might hire him, now seing at the desperate measures of his search, he didn't even care for the hired sword as much. He plaqued his thoughts with the entire idea of getting a job.

Harmonhy followed the blonde boy, after all she really didn't have any other choice. She held no knowledge of the new world she was in, and she fought to maintain her sense of sanity.

Being casted away from Paradise was more than enough to drive a girl insane. Her wings, or where they use to be, burned her back. It was common knowledge that when an angel fell from Grace, their wings would make an impression on their back.

It was a burn created by Hell's very fire.

She was curious about the young man in front of her. He seemed to have some issues with communication with people. His problems seemed to stem off deeper issues, probably with his father. It was always the parents fault with these mortals.

The burn in her back was steadily growing as she moved forward. That would be her life now, pain.

She should have listened to the story about Morte.

She should have heeded to Michael's words.
