The Elder Sequoia
View Floor Plan - In case you get lost, this will help you find your way around.
Heart of the village and it's protector, massive breaches of the sky scraping tree spread out over the many smaller sequoia that served as buildings to encompass the village to it's limits. The branches were each thick with golden sequoia cones, which shone brilliantly in the light of the sun, and glimmer in moonbeam.

An archway was formed at the front of the Elder Sequoia leading to the dirt path, elvish runes bearing the appearance of crystal burned into the ground around it.

Within, one would be filled with an overwhelming sense of tranquility - elven magic thick in the air to produce such a sensation.

Sleeping bags, cots and other assorted materials lay inside for wayward, wandering souls in need of a safe haven.

"Oh, I sniffed everything! How could I not, it's been ages since I've last seen any civilization of any sort. Except for those Greens, but, well. They don't count, as they smell really bad. I didn't break anything, I don't think. I just couldn't help but inspect everything. And those pelts were amazingly done, you know. No waste or anything. I was amazed at them." Words continued to spill out of the young kit's mouth. It seemed she never had to halt for air, that she just kept going.

Cecelia frowned at the girl. "...Well, would you like to come with me to meet our leader?" She questioned, trying to keep it light. "He's the one that did the pelts, you know." Trying to tempt the girl further into coming.

"Oh, sure. Why not? Lead away!" Lorna said gleefully. Finally, she was getting somewhere. In fact, she hoped, this leader would be the source of that odd magic that made her feel all tingly like.

Solinox entered the Elder Sequoia cautiously. He had the obvious look of a newcomer, but not one naive to the great forests of the South of the lands; rather, he had the look of one who made his living in the wilderness. This was partially true, for while he knew the forest quite well, he was not as skilled a hunter or forager to be self-sufficient enough to live off the land.

He was a mere scout trained in the art of swordplay, archery, and ambush. What brought him to the north? A calling, perhaps; an aspiration that went beyond endless days of tracking goblin bands.

Perhaps this village, Pirostia, had something to offer. He intended to find out.

Seeing few people in the interior of the large tree, he left to search for the denizens of Pirostia.

The forest was big. There was no getting around that fact. It was big and it had not proven to be friendly. Cold, tired and hungry, Trevor made his way into the village eyeing the sleeping bags scattered about with an eager expression. Glancing about he made certain no one was watching before setting to the task at hand.

Securing one of the sleeping bags, he'd drag it precisely five feet to one side, before sneaking inside. Now, he hoped, no one had any particularly identifying features associated with this sleeping bag, for he meant to pretend, for now, that it was in fact his and he'd always been sleeping here. Beyond that, he couldn't find it in himself to care, it was such a nice spot to fall asleep and more friendly than the hard earth. Sleep came quickly, hopefully undisturbed for a short while.
